The research of the CNRU is focused on treatment of behavioral and cognitive symptoms of neuro-psychiatric disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Parkinson's disease, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression & panic disorder.
The CNRU also investigates the biological mechanisms that underlie changes that occur in cognitive
functioning associated with normal aging.
The CNRU provides free memory screenings on “Memory Mondays” to members of the community age
55 and older. Screenings can also be done over the phone, conveniently and confidentially. We also
provide educational presentations to seniors on memory and aging as well as producing the annual
CNRU Summer Lecture Series.
